Cozumel is the biggest island in Mexico, just 19 km at western from Quintana Roo coastline. This island is rounded by white sand beach, lagoons and manglar. The coastline is rocky and with clean water where you can see the Mayan Coral Reef, this is the second reef system in the world.
Cozumel has a really important natural reserve as Chankanaab (this is a natural park) and Cozumel Reefs National Sea Park. At these parks you can practice scuba diving and ecotourism, it is a great place looked by scientific man as Jacques Cousteau and others. There is only one city, San Miguel de Cozumel, this is a caribbean town where international cruiser usually come to Mexico.
